We are all on a journey to eternity.
But the kind of eternity that you and I will end up with may not be the same unless we all travel together along the Only Way, believe in the Only Truth and live in accordance with the Only Life worth living - the Lord Jesus Christ!
Moreover, He also said that unless we treat others the way we might treat Him if He would personally appear to us, we will never be among the sheep but end up with the goats.
More significantly, He invited us to be His friends - as recorded in John 15: 12-17 - and challenged us to be ready to offer our lives for the sake of others - our friends - in the manner by which He gave His life for all humanity.
We are called further to be holy and righteous all the days of our lives, avoiding all that will make us unclean and be worthy of the rooms that He is preparing for us in the Father's house.
So let us journey together in accordance with the way He lived on earth so that we may be made worthy to spend our eternity with Him. Through the Holy Spirit's help we will never fail!
